After the excitement and pride of Malaysia’s 65th National Day celebration in Kuala Lumpur, a dedicated team of frontliners went to work late into the night: the cleaning crews of Alam Flora. While the city returned home to rest, these unsung heroes began the enormous task of cleaning streets, parks, and public spaces, making sure our capital city shines bright even after big events.
From sweeping confetti and clearing overflowing bins to washing away debris left behind, the job was demanding—especially with large crowds gathering for the festivities. Safety is always a priority, as the teams work efficiently among lingering traffic and busy urban streets. Despite the risk and fatigue, their spirits remain high. One cleaner shared, “Saya tetap seronok bertugas demi mencari rezeki buat keluarga tercinta, tidak kisah apa pandangan orang terhadap kami, asalkan rezeki ini datang hasil kudrat sendiri.”
The hard work of these cleaners is more than just a routine operation—it’s a commitment to civic pride. Their efforts ensure that Kuala Lumpur maintains its reputation as a beautiful, welcoming city for residents and visitors alike. It’s not just about cleaning up; it’s about showing respect for our shared public spaces and honoring the people who care for them.
We salute the dedication of our cleaning crews, who quietly make a difference behind the scenes. Let’s show our appreciation and continue to support those who work hard for a cleaner, healthier Malaysia.
Thank you, Alam Flora team—for being the true heroes after every celebration.
